What is an IWDD?

Learn about Irrigation Water Delivery Districts and their role in our community

An Irrigation Water Delivery District (IWDD) is a special district formed to manage and maintain irrigation infrastructure for a specific area. In our case, the Fraser Fields IWDD was established in 2018 to serve our community.

Responsibilities

The Fraser Fields IWDD is responsible for:

  1. Maintaining and repairing the irrigation distribution infrastructure
  2. Ensuring the longevity of the irrigation system
  3. Managing water delivery schedules
  4. Coordinating with SRP for water supply
  5. Addressing residents' concerns and issues related to irrigation

Bylaws

The Fraser Fields IWDD operates under a set of bylaws that govern its operations, elections, and decision-making processes. These bylaws ensure transparency and fairness in the management of our irrigation system.

For a copy of our bylaws, please [contact a board member](/contact).
